Background Information:

Histamine is a neurotransmitter and regulator of inflammatory physiological functions in the gut. Stimulates gastric secretion, bronchial smooth muscle constriction, and vasodilation. Increases the permeability of capillaries for white blood cells and proteins to allow engagement with foreign pathogens. Potent agonist of the G protein coupled histamine receptors HRH1-4. Released by mast cells and basophils, and is derived from the amino acid histidine via enzymatic decarboxylation. Provided as 10 mg of dry powder.
