Background Information:
The PathHunter® Human beta Catenin (CTNNB1) Nuclear Translocation Cell-Based Assay Kit (U2OS) utilizes the U2OS β-Catenin Nuclear Translocation cell line. The stable engineered cell line is for use in studying drug candidates affecting NHR activation and nuclear translocation. This cell line enables assessment of ligand (e.g. Wnt ligands) based NHR activation via detection of resulting β-Catenin nuclear translocation. This product uses EFC technology. The included cell line overexpresses ED-tagged β-Catenin and nuclear localized EA. Upon activation of β-Catenin, induced nuclear translocation leads to production of the EFC signal.
This kit includes a stable engineered cell line (supplied as two vials of cryopreserved cells); cell line specific reagents for cell thawing, propagation, detachment, cryopreservation, and cell plating; and a 10‑plate detection kit required to run the assay.
